The Momence Park District is thankful for the volunteers we have throughout the year! Our latest group some of whom are pictured here turned out Saturday for some hard work (securing the skate park equipment and some heavy work in the back of the park) and some fun work (Decorating for Christmas). Pizza and beverages were enjoyed after the work was done. The Park District couldn’t have done without you all! Some of the volunteers from Saturday were: Rochelle Conner, Becky, Catherine, Matthew, Timothy, Christopher and Bethany Juhl, Carter Illum, Gary Reaman, Kacey Conner, Matt and Trey Sandstrom, Jordan Illum and Al Kasper. Mr. Kasper brought an extra trailer to make the tasks easier and faster. Happy Thanksgiving to all from the Momence Park District.

Thanks to all who helped make this year’s
success! This event was made possible by the generosity and cooperation of so many community members! The Park District’s deepest thanks to Keith Zelhart, Ted Peterson, Todd Boykin, Glister MaryLee, The Van Drunen Family, the many, many Momence High School volunteers who helped run the event, and of course our great community volunteers who braved the Haunted Trail and Park Board members, who all came out and helped! Special Shout out to Matt Schmidt who came right away to help out with an electrical glitch. The Park District is Lucky to have you all..
